Dear Children,
I am a happy little dog named Chaucer. I am very lucky because I live in a country house that has many rooms and little places in which to play. Our yard is very big and is filled with trees, bushes, ponds, flowers, bugs and several other things that I am sure I have not yet discovered.
I know that little children like to run, play and discover things just like I do, so I asked my grandmother-owner to write books about my adventures. This book is about something we all love – OUR TOYS!
Your little buddy,
Chaucer
